Hollow-core Full Length Station (FLS-H)
Overview
The FLS-H extends Photon Kinetics' highest-performance final-QC platform to hollow-core fiber. Each configuration is fully integrated and built around the 1050F alignment station, which forms low-loss, ultra-stable temporary couplings between a launch-optimized buffer fiber and the hollow-core fiber under test, with integrated deadzone minimization. One fiber preparation covers the full test sequence.
FLS1-H — An OTDR designed exclusively for hollow-core measurement on the Full-Length Station delivers the fastest available measurement of fiber length, attenuation, attenuation uniformity, point-defect location and gas events. Mode field diameter is measured on the same station, without a second fiber preparation.
FLS2-H — Adds high-performance chromatic dispersion to the FLS1-H, combining the fastest OTDR and chromatic dispersion measurements in one station.
FLS3-H — Adds high-speed interferometric PMD to the FLS2-H, with both the patented generalized (GINTY) and traditional (TINTY) calculation methods.
